Are you sitting
in an adjustable work chair right now? If so, when's the last time
you adjusted it for ideal position and support?
If it's been
over a month, it's time to take a minute and make sure your chair
is doing the whole job it was designed to do. Here's how:
With your feet
on the floor, adjust the height of your chair so your knees are
at a 90-degree angle and your thighs are parallel to the ground.
Adjust your
armrests so your shoulders are in a relaxed position and your elbows
are at 90-degree angles.
Now distribute
your weight evenly and adjust the lumbar support accordingly.
This is neutral
posture. You'll be surprised by the difference it makes in your
productivity and comfort.
