For an online retailer, we're a little old-fashioned in a lot of ways.
Take for example our No Hidden Fees policy. One thing I've always hated about buying anything online is when the advertised price and the actual cost are completely different.
So, since I set the rules around here, I decided that my customers deserve better. My rules are simple:
- We will
never be undersold on any of our items.
- We offer
a 30-day price guarantee so you can shop with confidence.
- We absorb
the shipping costs for the vast majority of our products and clearly
indicate what those costs are for the remainder.
- We won't
tack on handling fees, insurance fees or even sales tax —
the price is the price.
Immediate Gratification
But don't think
that our free shipping policy means we use the slowest, cheapest
delivery method known to man. Or that we drop-ship from some distributor
someplace.
On the contrary,
we actually guarantee the fastest shipping. So I'm not surprised
that the
most common feedback I hear from my customers is "I can't believe
how quickly my order arrived...how did you do that?" Again,
being a bit old-fashioned is the key.
First, we keep
more inventory in stock than any other online retailer. We have
two very busy warehouses, with one devoted solely to Aeron chairs
and accessories.
Which is why
we can get your order to you faster than anybody else.

Gazing
Out The Window...
And Into The Warehouse
Second, we rely far less on high tech automation and far more on good old teamwork. The expert you talk to when you're ordering sits in an office with a window into the warehouse floor.
So they not only fit you with the best products for your needs, they go in and speak directly with the warehouse team to make sure your order is prepared exactly to your specifications. FedEx All The Way
The final piece
of the puzzle is our choice of shipper. We use FedEx Ground...perhaps
you've heard of them. We've tried them all and FedEx is the best.
As you can imagine,
we're a pretty big customer of theirs. They care just as much about
the condition of your order on arrival as we do AND you do.
Internet or no internet, the old-fashioned ways of doing business are still the best ways:
- Sell only quality products.
- Don't nickel and dime your customers with hidden fees.
- Keep plenty of inventory on hand at all times.
- Respond as a closely knit team on every order.
- Work with a shipper that holds the same values we do.
With all the
feedback I'm getting from customers like you, I guess we'll keep
on doing things the good old-fashioned way.
